 JH Caravan #2 - The Miner's Drive, September 17-19

Sample both the Missouri and Kansas JH starting in Harrisonville and venturing to Butler MO then on to Nevada MO, Fort Scott KS, continuing the journey into Crawford County KS (Pittsburg) for the first night. Friday will be dedicated to Pittsburg, Frontenac & Franklin KS. Saturday morning the group will arrive in Joplin to meet up with JH Caravan #1, the Route 66 Association of Missouri's Fall Motor Tour and other groups to kick-off our conference and start Saturday's activities.  The early Frontier, Mining and Civil War history will be themes of several of stops along the way of this two-day exploration of the Jefferson Highway route in two states.

Lodging for BOTH nights will be the Hampton Inn in Pittsburg KS. Exact lodging details including JH special rates and reservation telephone numbers/codes are being worked out and will be provided as soon as caravan leaders Frank Justus and Terry Wood complete caravan arrangements.

All meal stops and any admissions will be self-pay. A detailed schedule will be shared once finalized. All future announcements on caravan details will be on website, both JH Facebook pages and emailed to JH members/registrants.

Cost for JH Members $20 per car, $30 per car for non-JH members. One caravan booklet per car included in fee.

Disability Waivers must be signed by all members participating. 

Caravan T-shirts with above logo will be available for ordering this summer.
