Partial Conference Friday Evening Awards Dinner – $30.00
Perfect for spouses, other guests, and JH members who just want to participate in this dinner and evening social event. Registration needed by May 23 so caterer can have proper number for food preparation.
Partial Conference Thursday 6/2/22 Bus Tour – $75.00
Full Conference registrants have priority so registration contingent on space availability AFTER Early-bird period.

April 30 Update: Availability VERY LIMITED since seats on bus tour are almost FULL. Would advised contacting Michele Hansford, JHA Board Secretary (hansfordnewton@gmail.com) to see if bus seats are available BEFORE registering for this option. As soon as bus is full, this option will be closed even if prior to May 23 final registration date.

La Quinta Inn & Suites is the 2022 JHA conference hotel and registration is now open to book rooms for June 1-4, 2022. This hotel, located at 2410 South Broadway Street, has full amenities for your stay and complimentary hot breakfast each day.

A 5-minute walk from shops and restaurants at Meadowbrook Mall, this casual hotel is off Highway 160/69 and is 2 miles from Pittsburg State University and 4 miles from Crawford County Historical Museum. The relaxed rooms with a contemporary vibe offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and microwaves, as well as minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Children age 17 and under stay at no charge in a parent’s room. There is also an indoor pool and gym.

The hotel will serve as the base for the conference, and registration for the conference will take place there on June 1, 2020, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Registration details for later arrivals will be posted later.)

The bus tour on Thursday, June 2, will depart from this hotel parking lot (with possible pick-ups on north end of town). La Quinta Inn & Suites is convenient to the conference activities that will take place downtown on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.

We have a block of rooms held for June 1-4. Updated 4-19-2022 -- NEW HOTEL CUTOFF DATE FOR BOOKING IN OUR BLOCK IS MAY 1, 2022 (or when the block is filled, if that should happen sooner). La Quinta Inn & Suites is part of the Wyndham Hotels group, but booking for the special JHA rate must be done through the local hotel. Stays will be eligible for Wyndham Rewards points.

The conference room rate is 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds for $119.00, plus applicable state and local taxes. Suite rooms slightly higher. Hotel check-in is at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 11:00 a.m. The cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival but please verify with hotel at time of reservation. Contact the hotel to obtain other information or make requests concerning accessibility.
