Here are a few current or upcoming events at the Miner Hall Museum:

"A Nation Divided-the American Civil War" July 1- Sept 28
3rd quarter special exhibit  is on display through September 28. The exhibit includes camp and personal items as well as weapons that were used by the men who fought along the Missouri border in Crawford and Cherokee Counties of Kansas during the Civil War.

Meet our host Joe Maghe, former Franklin resident and member of "The Border Wars Collectors".  Join us to learn about the role of immigrants in the Civil War and view the special exhibit "A Nation Divided-the American Civil War". The exhibit is on display through September 28 and includes information & displays relating to the men who fought along the Missouri border in Crawford and Cherokee counties of Kansas during the Civil War. Joe will be available 2-4 to answer your questions.

- Mark you calendars! April 1, 2014:   Centennial - Dedication of Franklin Union Hall (This is the site of the Amazon Army march).  Lots of fun things planned for that day to replicate the original celebration.  (Old time football game, 5K run, etc.).
